Phillip Touchet

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Phillip Touchet, 87, who died Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Vermilion Health Care Center. He will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

He is survived by his son, Phillip Touchet, Jr. of Mandaville; two daughters, Peggy and her husband, Leroy Rodriquez of Eunice and Felicia Frederick of Mandeville; two stepchildren, Darlene and her husband, Lloyd Cancienne of Thibodeaux and Kim and her husband, Bertis Brown of Pitkin; two sisters, Shirley Thibodeaux of Kaplan and Zula Perry of Kaplan; one brother, Arville Touchet of Cow Island; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Suire Touchet; his parents, Semar Touchet and the former Alix LeBlanc; and one sister, Marie Touchet Abshire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM.
