Priscilla Stansel

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Priscilla Stansel, 89, who died Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Acadia General Hospital. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Pastor Troy Duhon officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Terry Von Stansel of Gueydan; one daughter, Ilona Hassler of Beaumont, TX; one brother, Sidney Vincent of Morse; two grandchildren, Lutretia and her husband, Kevin Melancon of Gueydan and Tristan Simon of Gueydan; and two great grandchildren, Michael Melancon of Gueydan and Jaci Mae Guidry of Gueydan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth "Puddin" Stansel; her parents, Saul Vincent and the former Lillian Guidry; one brother, Riverus Vincent; and one sister, Earline Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 10:00 PM; Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the services.
