Gueydan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, July 2, 2018 at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Rachel Marie Breaux, 55, who died Friday, June 29, 2018 at her residence. She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her mother, Lavonne Hebert Breaux of Gueydan; her sister, Margie and her husband, Melvin Smith, Jr. of Gueydan; and her two brothers, Gerald Breaux and his wife, Jennifer of Gueydan and Randall Breaux and his wife, Debbie of Gueydan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Huland Breaux; her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hebert; and her paternal grandparents, Elliot Breaux and Irene Racca.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 5:00 PM; Monday, July 2, 2018 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
