Ramona "Fee" Reese

Gueydan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November  6, 2021 at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Ramona “Fee” Reese, 62, who died Thursday, November 4, 2021 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Corey Campeaux officiating the services.

She is survived by her sister, Cynthia Abshire and her husband, Howard of Gueydan; her nieces, Rachel Reese, Julie Nelson, Vashti Pope, Nadine Lapretre, Jodie Mayer, Caitlyn Delhomme, Brittany Spiers and Tori Trahan; her nephews, Chris Abshire, Joey Reese, Wyte Reese, Heath Abshire and Parker Abshire; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sheldon "Chalk" Reese and the former Hattie Abshire; one brother, Dennis Reese; and one great nephew, Gavin Overley.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Friday, November  5, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM; Saturday, November  6, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 1:45 PM.
