Ranada Lynn Bigbie Chavarria

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April  6, 2023 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ranada Lynn Bigbie Chavarria, 42, who died Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Center.  She will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Reverend Farley Painter officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of seven years, Leonardo Chavarria of Kaplan; two sons, Racardo Bigbie of Forked Island, Feranando Chavarria of Kaplan; one daughter, Jessica Bigbie of Breaux Bridge; three grandchildren, Raelyn Mouton, Matias Francisco, and Louis Francisco; four sisters, Bernadette Henry and her husband, Ryan of Kaplan, Lorina Kingrey of Alabama, and Casey Cormier of Kaplan, and Gail Marie Bigbie of Crowley; one brother, Amos James Bigbie Tweedle of Erath; her father, David Bigbie of Abbeville; her sister-in-law, Nelly Chavarria of New Iberia; and her cousin, Mariela Chavarria of New Iberia.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Touchet Bigbie.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, April  5, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:00 PM; Thursday, April  6, 2023 from 8:00 AM until the services at 10:00 AM.
