Ray Allen Roy

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ray Allen Roy, 64, who died Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Debra M. Roy of Abbeville; his daughter, Annie M. Meaux of Abbeville; his grandson, Riley Paul Mendoza; his two sisters, Geraldine Sandifer of Iota and Cynthia Lachie of Gonzales; and his two brothers, Rodney Roy of Eunice and Gerald Roy of TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Roy and the former Eunice Gallet.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, July 31, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00 AM.
