Abbeville- A memorial service will be held at a later date honoring the life of Raye Annette Thomas Lopez, 56, who died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Abbeville General Hospital.

Raye is survived by her husband, Joseph E. "Buck" Lopez; two step-sons, Lance Lopez of Lafayette, and Brent Lopez of Youngsville; three step-daughters, Anita Wheeler of Pensacola, FL, Stacey Harris of Houston, TX, and Katy Lopez of Baton Rouge; brother, Todd Thomas of Abbeville; and special friend, Barbara Morvant.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Brenda Place; and father, Dallas Thomas.
