Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Rayford "Ray" Guidry, 65, who passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Lafayette General Southwest. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Nicholas DuPre' officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Joan Guidry of Eunice; one son, Ryan Guidry and his wife, Tiffany of Kaplan; one daughter, Nicole Guidry of Kaplan; one sister, Robin Guidry of Tucson, AZ; four step-children, Robbie Primeaux and his wife, Angie of Tiki Island, TX, Ryan Primeaux and his wife, Layla of Kaplan, Jessica and her husband, Tim Lyons of Kaplan, and Kim and her husband, Jeff Fontenot of Maurice; and 14 grandchildren.

Hewas preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Dudley Guidry and the former Mary Melba Borel.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
