Raymond Stelly

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Raymond Stelly, 77, who died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Vermilion Health Care Center.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Stelly and his wife, Rachel of Kaplan; his daughter, Lariana Venable of Forked Island; his stepson, Jason Abshire and his wife, Tammy of Forked Island; his seven grandchildren, Brittany Broussard, Brody Stelly, Dustin Trahan, Drake Trahan, Robyn Dartez, Renee Abshire and Dane Abshire; his 11 great grandchildren; and his brother, Donald Stelly and his wife, Beverly of Forked Island.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Elaine Stelly; his parents, Adlar and Adia Stelly; his two sisters, Earline Touchet and Renola Vidrine; and his seven brothers, Gorchin Stelly, Sr., Hildrie Stelly, Ronald Stelly, Ivy Stelly, Irvin Stelly, Mahlan Stelly, Sr. and Joyce Stelly.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, March 28, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Monday, March 29, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:30 PM.
