Reginald John "Suntan" Hebert

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church honoring the life of Reginald John "Suntan" Hebert, 64, who died Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center surrounded by family. Fr. Mikel Polson will officiate the services.

He is survived by his daughters, Tioni Carter (DeAnthony) of Lafayette, and Whitney Woods (Alyson Matthews) of Kaplan; one sister, Michelle H. Arceneaux (Dwayne) of Las Vegas; three brothers, Ronald Hebert (Charissa) of Meaux, Bradley Hebert (Jessica) of Lafayette, and Danny Hebert (Sonya) of California; two bonus daughters that he raised as his own, Kealer Petry of Kaplan, and Kessa Petry of Kaplan; and five grandchildren, Remi Woods, Alianna Carter, Vince Carter, MaiLani Carter, and Harmony Carter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland Hebert and the former Viola Dorion.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Kaplan, LA, on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 from 9:00 AM until the services begin at 11:00 AM with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM.
