Richard Dale Meaux

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December  2, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Richard Dale Meaux, 63, who died Monday, November 25, 2019 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.  He will be laid to rest at Nunez Baptist Cemetery with Pastor Timmy Farris officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of  44 years, Sadie H. Meaux; his two sons, Richard "Brud" Meaux and his wife, Keisha of Erath and Terry Lane Meaux of Kaplan; his daughter, Shelly Meaux Chambers and her husband, Darrell  of Abbeville; his mother, Joyce R. Meaux of Kaplan; his three sisters, Melinda Harrington of Kaplan, Joyce "Sis" Touchet of Forked Island, and Marlene Farris of Kaplan; his brother, Freddie Meaux of Kaplan; his eight grandchildren; his two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sidney Paul Meaux, Sr.; one brother, Sidney Paul Meaux, Jr.; one sister, Cindy Meaux; and his great grandchild, Grayson Chambers.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, December  1, 2019 from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM; Monday, December  2, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00 AM.
