Ricky Anthony Faulk

Abbeville—A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Vincent Funeral Home – Abbeville honoring the life of Ricky Anthony Faulk, 68, who died Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at New Iberia Manor South.  He will be laid to rest in St. Paul Cemetery with Deacon Randy Hyde officiating the service.

Ricky was a 1972 graduate of Abbeville High School. He attended Gulf Area Vocational- Technical School where he studied Architectural Drafting.  He retired in 2008 as assistant director with the Acadia Parish Mosquito Control.  He was a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints through the worst and best of times.

He is survived by his siblings, Keith M. Faulk and spouse, Tina B. Faulk, Kent N. Faulk, and Lucinda F. Broussard and spouse, David K. Broussard; nephews,  Blake M Faulk and spouse, Lauren D. Faulk, Gavin P Faulk, and William Faulk and spouse, Audrey Faulk; nieces, Heather B. Fruge and Erin B. Spinosa; great-nephews, Christian M. Foret, Leo M. Faulk, and Louis Faulk; and great-nieces, Lucy Faulk and Rosie Faulk.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eustis Faulk and the former Velta Guidry; grandparents, Dennis Guidry and Laurice B. Guidry; great grandparents, Gerard Guidry and Lelie B. Guidry, and Philogene Bourque and the former Cleomire Romero; and uncle, Larry James Guidry.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Saturday January 28, 2023 from 9:00 AM until time of services. A rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM.

The family would like to acknowledge how grateful they are to the medical staff for their heartfelt humanitarian professionalism while caring for Ricky in his times of need.
