Rixby G. Marceaux, Jr.

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Rixby G. Marceaux, Jr., 80, who died Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Deacon William "Billy" Vincent officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Dartez, William Romero, Kyle Hargrave, Kenneth Broussard, Melvin Faulk, Jr. and his godchild, Tim Holcomb.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Rita Hebert Marceaux of Kaplan; and his son, Harold Marceaux of Kaplan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rixby Marceaux, Sr. and the former Irene Broussard; and his brother, Marion Marceaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Friday, February 25, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 10:00 AM.
