Robert "Mike" Primeaux

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church   honoring the life of Robert Michael Primeaux, 70, who died Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Stephen Irudayasany officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Jennifer Primeaux of Kaplan; two sons, Robbie Primeaux and his wife, Angie of Tiki Island, TX and Ryan Primeaux and his wife, Layla of Kaplan; two daughters, Jessica Lyons of Kaplan and Kim Fontenot and her husband, Jeff of Maurice; stepson, Erick Soileau of Lafayette; stepdaughter, Heather Proctor and her husband, Mike of Crowley; two brothers, Larry Primeaux and his wife, Laura of Kaplan and Kenneth Primeaux of Kaplan; three sisters, Janet Touchet and her husband, Rodney of Erath, Gayle Guttry and her husband, Billy of Kaplan and Judy Owens and her husband, Scott of Kaplan; and 15 grandchildren, Andrew, Chris, Elodie, Aimeè, Makara, Dylan, Kaylie, Jackson, Taylor, Cameron, Sophia, Ella, Brandon, Baylie and Bethany.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Huey Paul Primeaux and the former Rose Richard; one sister, Joycelyn Primeaux; and one sister-in-law, Darlene Primeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 12:45 PM when the procession departs for the church with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
