Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Robert A. Singer, 55, who died Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Heart Hospital of Lafayette.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Lisa Istre Singer of Kaplan; his two sons, Dusty Singer of Abbeville and Robert Kyle Singer of Abbeville; his three daughters, Hanna Broussard of Meaux, Katey Gardiner and her husband, Cody of Lake Charles and Holley Singer of Abbeville; his eight grandsons, Cameron Singer, Joel Singer, Logan Singer, Landon Singer, Arliss Broussard, RykerDavid Lewis, Kolston Singer and Rogan Gardiner; his granddaughter, Aaliyah Singer; his mother, Jerry Broussard; his brothers, Keith Broussard and his wife, Cherie, Brian Broussard and his wife, Brandi and Jared Broussard and his wife, Shelia; his two nephews; his 12 nieces; his two great nephews; and one great niece.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Britton Lee Gardiner; his brother, Jodi Dumond; and his sister, Denise Jules.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Monday, May 10, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 1:45 PM with a rosary being prayed at 10:30 AM.
