Ronald & Barbara Lynn Monteaux Joseph Bellot, Sr.

Abbeville—Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Barbara Lynn Monteaux Bellot, 66, who passed on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center and her husband of fifty years Ronald Joseph Bellot, Sr., who passed away on Thursday August 29, 2024 at Louisiana Extended Care in Lafayette, LA. They will be laid to rest at St. Anne Cemetery in Youngsville, LA at a later date. Pastor Todd Menard of Family Life Church in Lafayette, LA will be officiating the services.

All who knew Ronnie and Barbara knew they were not just parents to their four boys, but also to their best friends, their confidantes, and our role models. Together, they formed the foundation of our family and their love for each other was an inspiration to all who knew them.Ronnie was a man of many talents and interests. He was a gifted musician and artist. He had a green thumb, and his flowerbeds were a beautiful oasis. He was a great listener and an amazing speaker, always sharing the word of Jesus with everyone around him. His wisdom will be deeply missed.Barbara was the heart and soul of our family. She was the one who held us all together, and her love and kindness knew no bounds. She was always the life of the party, and her infectious laughter will be greatly missed. Together, they were a team, and they faced every challenge and obstacle with grace and determination. They taught us the importance of hard work, perseverance, and the power of love and faith. They showed us what it means to be truly selfless, and to always put the needs of others before our own.Their love for each other was an inspiration to all of us, and it will be a constant reminder of their legacy. They shared a strong faith, and they instilled that love and faith into us. They have left us with so many precious memories, and for that, we will always be grateful. They will always be in our hearts and their love will live on forever.

Barbara and Ronnie is survived by their; sons, Brandon Ray Bellot (Tiff), Ronald Joseph Bellot, Jr.; Francis O'Neal Bellot (Jennifer), and Jeremy Paul Bellot (Kelsey); fifteen grandchildren, Kailyn, Autumn, Gabriel, Summer, Cy, Avery, Matt, Dylan, Leah, Abbie, Alyssa, Aaron, Jansen, Averi, and Greyson; one great-grandson, Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Ronald Joseph Bellot, Sr.; her father, Raywood Joseph Monteaux; mother, Norita Ann Andrews Monteaux; sisters, Susan Kaye Stelly, Lana Louise Lambert, and Antionette Monteaux; and brother, Kenneth Ray Monteaux. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Francis Chester Bellot and Bernice Romero Bellot; his sister, Lucille “Lou” Bellot.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 9:00 AM until time of services.
