Ronald "Ronnie" Landry

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Ronald “Ronnie” Landry, 73, who died Monday, December 20, 2021 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathon Pineda, Odis King, Johnny Hebert, Jr., Jimmie Bertrand, Daylon Landry and Andrew Trahan. Honorary pallbearers will be Howard Stevens, Milton Mire and Lloyd Landry, Jr.

He is survived by his wife of ten years, Janet Landry of Kaplan; his three daughters, Rhonda Landry King and her husband, Odis of Maurice, Sheila Landry of Kaplan and Gabrielle Landry of Forked Island; his stepson, Johnny Hebert, Jr. of Maurice; his three stepdaughters, Tiffany Hebert of Forked Island, Bliss Bertrand and her husband, Jimmie, Jr. of Forked Island and Carlie Hebert of Kaplan; his four grandchildren, Jonathon Pineda, Skyla King, Sydney King and Mercy Jayne Albarado; his four step grandchildren, Noble Hebert, Daylon Landry, Jayce Hebert and Caroline Hebert; his sister, Cheryl Marceaux of Kaplan; and his brother, Lloyd Landry, Jr. of Abbeville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd J. Landry and the former Nellie Bertrand; his step grandchild, Jaycee Hebert; his godfather, Loree Bertrand; and his aunt and uncle, Agnes and Joe Bernard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 1:45 PM.
