Rose Faulk Herpin

September 2, 1919 — May 25, 2018

Abbeville—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, May 28, 2018 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church honoring the life of Rose Herpin, 98, who died Friday, May 25, 2018 at her home in Meaux.

She will be laid to rest at St. Mary Magdalen Cemetery with Fr. Michael Richard officiating the services.

Rose was a devoted wife, sister and aunt, although she never had children, she was a mother figure to her devoted nieces and nephews. Happiness to her was being surrounded by her family and living her faith.

Rose is survived by her nieces, Brenda Suire and her husband Sanford of Abbeville, Irene Romero of Abbeville, Delores Harrington of Meaux, and Dot Kline of Wichita, KS; nephews, Jeffery Faulk of Abbeville, Raywood Faulk of Abbeville and Daniel Faulk of Baton Rouge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edes Herpin; parents, Alexie Faulk and the former Pamela Colomb; sisters, Wilda Hebert and Hilda Faulk; brothers, Walter Faulk and Whitney Faulk; nephews, Michael Brent Hebert, Nodily Faulk and Dallas Faulk; niece, Flaudry Credeur; and several great nephews.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM when the procession departs for the church.
