Roy Glen Touchet, Sr.

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March  3, 2021 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church honoring the life of Roy Glen Touchet, Sr., 69, who died Saturday, February 27, 2021 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Suire Cemetery with Reverend Keith Landry officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Roy Glen Touchet, Jr., Scott LeMaire, Dakota LeMaire, Bransen LeMaire, Colby Broussard and Chance Broussard.

He is survived by his wife, Londa Hargrave Touchet of Cow Island; his son, Roy Glen Touchet, Jr. and his wife, Christine of Lafayette; his two daughters, Rachel Touchet of Kaplan and Kim LeMaire and her husband, Scott of Maurice; his brother, Mark Wayne Touchet and his wife, Julia of Cow Island; and his ten grandchildren, Dakota, Audrey, Kyle, Catherine, Alesha, Bransen, Jason, Brooklen, Joseph and Jayden.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Joseph Touchet; his parents, Icay Touchet and the former, Eledia Menard; his brother, Ronnie Touchet; his three sisters, Joyce Swire, Patsy Abshire and Mary Suire; and his three brothers-in-law, Eldridge Swire, Lawrence Abshire and Addison Suire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, March  2, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, March  3, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 1:45 PM.
