Ruby R. Lemaire

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Ruby R. LeMaire, 85, who died Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center.  She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

She is survived by her two daughters, Arlene L. Choate and her companion, Bart Daigle of Scott and Danette L. Duhon and her husband, Chad Duhon of Forked Island; her three daughters-in-law, Bertha Jane LeMaire of Kaplan, Priscilla LeMaire of Gueydan and Beverly LeMaire of Kaplan; her 11 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley Paul LeMaire; her three sons, Darrel Paul LeMaire, Wesley James LeMaire, Sr. and Russell Dale LeMaire; her brother, Clarence Richard; her four sisters, Lula R. Stelly, Gloria R. White, Irene R. Frederick and Gladys R. Suire; her parents, Aladan Richard and the former Cecile Gaspard; and her great grandson, Bailey J. LeMaire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, January  4, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, January 5, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 10:00 AM.
