Rudy Joseph Gaspard

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Rudy Joseph Gaspard, 87, who died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Nicholas DuPre' officiating the services.

He is survived by his companion, Gay Harrington of Kaplan; two sons, Michael James Gaspard and his wife, Bonnie of Maurice and Rody Dwayne Gaspard and his companion, Michelle Broussard of Gueydan; one daughter, Susan and her husband, Reggie Broussard of Gueydan; one brother, Hubert Gaspard of Kaplan; 7 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Gaspard and the former Eunice Landry; one sister, Isabelle "Toot" Meaux; and one granddaughter, Cassidy Broussard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 10:00 AM until services with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
