Sally G. Hargrave

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Sally Hargrave, 66, who died Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by her companion of 25 years, Karl Pellegrin of Kaplan; one son, Kirk Hargrave of Abbeville; three daughters, Shaina and her husband, Kerry Simon of Nunez, Tristy Hargrave of Breaux Bridge, and Vandy Hargrave and her companion, Branden Gaspard of Kaplan; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Beverly and her husband, Carl John of Houma; three godchildren, Kenneth Hargrave of Lafayette, Tiffany Martin of Rayne, and Alan Smith of Kaplan; two brothers, Earl Dartez of Forked Island and Floyd Gaspard of Kaplan; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ozan Gaspard and the former Bernice Harrington; four sisters, Nedray Vincent, Flodry Baker, Earline Choate and Natalie Hargrave; and two brothers, Lawrence Gaspard and Lawless Dartez.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 3:00 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 8:00 AM until 1:40 PM when the procession departs for the church.
