Samuel Joseph Watkins, Iii

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Samuel Joseph Watkins, III, 63, who died Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Suzanne F. Watkins of Kaplan; two sons, Scott Watkins of Kaplan and Steven Watkins of Kaplan; one brother, Frank Watkins of Maurice; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Joseph Watkins, Jr. and the former Joyce Ann Perry; and his half-sister, Livia Smeaton.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, November 11, 2017 from 9:00 AM until the services with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
