Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Sanders "Bub" Gaspard, 89, who died on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at Kaplan Healthcare Center. He will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Nicholas Dupre' officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Mary Gaspard of Kaplan; two sons, Sanders Gaspard, Jr. of Kaplan and Jimmie Gaspard of Broussard; one daughter, Connie and her husband, Ricky LeBouef of Kaplan; one sister, Delta White of Forked Island; one brother, Wilman Gaspard of Forked Island; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dean Clark; his parents, Deussard Gaspard and the former Aline Primeaux; three brothers; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Red and Orella Gaspard; and one great granddaughter, Angel Raffrey.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, September 6, 2018 from 8:00 AM until services at 2:00 PM.
