Sandy Lormand

A Mass of Christian Burial officiated by Reverend Stephen S. Irudayasamy will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 8, 2024 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Sandy Lynn Lormand, 67, who passed away on October 30, 2024 at his residence.

The visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Kaplan on Thursday November 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and will continue on Friday November 8, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM on Thursday. The burial will follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Roxane Lormand; four sons, Josh Lormand of New York, Trey Lormand and his wife, Latesia of Abbeville, Spense Lormand of Kaplan, and Tyler Lormand of Kaplan; one step-daughter, Raydella Windham of Basile; one sister, Yvonne Lormand; five brothers, Steve Lormand, Phil Lormand, Chris Lormand, Scott Lormand, and Kenneth Lormand; and four grandchildren, Aliahna "Ali" Lormand, Tre Trey Lormand, Paislee Lormand, and Charlie Lormand.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Stafford Lormand and the former Annette Trahan; two brothers, Brian Lormand and Neil Lormand; two sisters, Sandra Guidry and Trudy Gaspard; and granddaughter Avery Lormand.
