Sharon Frederick Faulk

A memorial will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Sharon Margaret Frederick Faulk, 72, who died Sunday, January 23, 2022, surrounded by close family.

Sharon met Donald when they were juniors in high school in 1966. The pair fell in love and were married April 27, 1968. Sharon and Donald moved to Abbeville and became parents to two sons. Dancing, listening to her husband play music, crafting with plastic canvas, baking and fast cars were some of Sharon’s favorite things. She was a proud member of the Christian woman’s group ‘Women Aglow’.

Sharon will be remembered by her family as kind, loving, gentle and always prepared with a gift for her grandchildren.  She will be missed by everyone who ever met her.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Faulk; two sons, Jamie Faulk and his fiancée, Bonnie DeRouen, and Chris Faulk and his wife, Joy; six grandchildren, Hunter, Cara, Clay, and Cade Faulk, Justice and Amalie Duhon; one great granddaughter, Emily Moody; two sisters, Diane Frederick Trahan and her husband, Dillon, and Patricia Frederick; two brothers, Lonnie Frederick and his wife, Bea Angelle, and Dale Frederick and his wife, Terri Frederick; seven nephews; and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her father Lenward Frederick; mother, Yvette Hebert Frederick; brother, Rogers Frederick; and grandson, Christopher Dylan Faulk.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 12:00 PM until time of service.
