Shelia Ann Touchet Schexnider

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Shelia Ann Touchet Schexnider, 62, who died Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice, with Brother Richard Meche officiating the services.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Chad Schexnider of Lafayette; her two daughters, Heather Knaps and her husband, Jason of Youngsville and Amber Werner and her fiancé Quinten Deshotel of New Iberia; her two grandchildren, Kaden Knaps and Madilyn Deshotel; and her three brothers, Woody Touchet of Kaplan, Lawson "Joe" Touchet of Kaplan and Carlton "TT" Touchet of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene Lovelis Touchet and the former Verlene Rose Schexnayder.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, November 14, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM; Monday, November 15, 2021 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 10:00 AM.
