Sidney Dartez

Kaplan—Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January  8, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Sidney Dartez, 87, who died Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Eastridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He is survived by his two daughters, Amanda D. Hebert and her husband, Doug of Kaplan and Jana Mire and her husband, Thad of Kaplan; his three grandchildren, Skyla, Chase and Hillary; his four great grandchildren, Sage, Kami, Rayn and Koen; and his two great-great grandchildren, Alivia and Allison.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Joyce F. Dartez; his parents, Eulage Dartez and the former Elia Leger; his two brothers, Parfait Dartez and Whitney Dartez; and his two half-sisters, Larris Manceaux and Marie Higginbotham.

The family would like to thank everyone at Eastridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the wonderful care and compassion they gave to our dad and for the awesome and personal attention they gave to us.  We would also like to thank Traditions Health Care Hospice, especially Kristin, Ashley and Ms. Stephanie.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, January 8, 2022 from 9:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 11:00 AM.
