Sonia Greene Bertrand

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Sonia Greene Bertrand, 71, who died Sunday, June 26, 2022 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Greene Cemetery with Reverend Stephen Irudayasamy officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Mobie Bertrand of Kaplan; her three daughters, Mattie Dew and her husband, Thomas J. of Kaplan, Courtney Gaspard and her husband, Jason of Kaplan and Cale Guidry and her husband, Barrett of Kaplan; her six grandchildren, Bailey Prejean, Dane Bertrand, Payton Gaspard, Sydney Bertrand, Andre Gaspard and Meryl Guidry; and her four sisters, Susan Greene of Kaplan, Linda G. Lege of Kaplan, Cindy Greene of Kaplan and Russ G. Hebert of Kaplan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Darryl L. Bertrand; her parents, Robert "Beno” Greene and the former Aspasie Gaspard; and her brother, Robert Wade Greene.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00 AM with a rosary being prayed at 10:00 AM.
