Stephen "Waterbug" Hebert

Gueydan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Stephen “Waterbug” Hebert, 59, who died Sunday, November 8, 2020 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Clint Trahan officiating the services.

He is survived by his son, Canaan Delhomme and his wife, Caitlyn of Gueydan; his two daughters, Claire Ryder and her fiancé, Braiden Guarnere of Baytown TX and Malarie Hebert of Gueydan; his brothers, Blaine Hebert of San Diego, CA and Keith Hebert of Boynton Beach, FL; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Colleen Hebert; his parents, Russell Hebert and the former Mary Jean Weekly; and his sister, Angela Weekly Menard.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, November 11, 2020 from 10:00 AM until the procession departs for the church at 1:45 PM.
