Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 16, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan honoring the life of Steven M. Simon, 64, who died Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Houston Methodist Baytown Hospital. Pastor Timmy Farris will officiate the services.

Visiting hours will be observed at Vincent Funeral Home in Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 8:00 AM until the services begin at 3:00 PM.

He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sandy Simon of Leleux; one daughter, Valerie Marceaux and her husband, Kevin of Kaplan; three sisters, Jo Simon of Lafayette, Margaret Blumberg and her husband, Dwayne of Arizona, and Linda Bollich of Bossier City; one brother, Tony Simon of Golden, CO; and four grandchildren, Brenden, Taylor, Makenzie, and Rylee Marceaux.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Simon; one grandchild, Angel; his parents, Martin Simon, Jr. and the former Opal Keen; two brothers, Patrick Simon, and Michael Simon; his sister-in-law, Patricia Adams; and his mother- and father-in-law, Joseph and Lucy Leleux.
