Tammy Comeaux Galtier

Abbeville—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville honoring the life of Tammy Marie Comeaux Galtier, 59, who died Thursday, December 13, 2018 at her residence.

She will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery with Rev. John "Buddy" Breaux officiating the services. Pallbearers will be Trent Arceneaux, Dylon Bertrand, Kendrick Comeaux, Trevor Boudreaux, Brent Galtier and Robert W. Landry. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Galtier, Nicholas Desormeaux, Brody Galtier and Braxton Galtier.

Tammy was a hard worker who loved what she did. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family, friends and dogs. She loved her family and was always looking out for them. She was considered the “mother hen” of the family. She lived by the open-door policy.

Tammy is survived by her fiance', Robert W. Landry; two sons, Brent Galtier and Ray Galtier both of Delcambre; one daughter, Crystal Galtier of Delcambre; mother, Beatrice Comeaux of Delcambre; six grandchildren, Dylon Bertrand, Hunter Alario, Devon Galtier, Brody Galtier, Braxton Galtier and Briley Galtier; one brother, Pete Comeaux (Kristin Veselka) of Delcambre; one sister, Jenny Arceneaux and her husband Alvin of Erath; and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren who lovingly referred to her as "Coo Coo".

She was preceded in death by her father, Pearley John Comeaux; two brothers, Tracy Comeaux and Lance Comeaux; and one sister, Lisa Desormeaux.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of services.
