Tao Van Nguyen

ABBEVILLE—Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at The VN Hall, 1201 N. Lafitte Rd., Abbeville honoring the life of Tao Van Nguyen, 73, who died Sunday, February 6, 2022 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at St. Paul Cemetery with Reverend James Bam Nguyen officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife, Lua T. Cao; and eight children, Thien Nguyen along with his wife and children, Loan Nguyen, Steven Nguyen along with his wife and children, Thanh Nguyen, Minh Nguyen, Hue Nguyen along with her husband and children, Mary Nguyen and her children and Johnnie Nguyen and his children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ngo Van Nguyen and Lan Thi Nguyen.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Abbeville, 209 S. St. Charles St., on Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 PM; Friday, February 11, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 6:30 PM; Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 8:00 AM until 8:30 AM when the procession will depart for the church.
