Tawana René Vaughan

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Tawana René Vaughan, 61, who died Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Ochsner Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.  She will be laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery with Reverend Stephen Irudayasamy officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Seth Comeaux, Rustin Comeaux, Dayton Frederick, John Hebert, Sleighton Hebert and Ty Hebert.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Pete Vaughan of Kaplan; her son, Heath Tubby Broussard and Anna Lambert of Kaplan; her daughter, Shyla Vaughan of Kaplan; her five grandchildren, Kain Broussard and his wife, Elaine, Shelby Simon, Reese Broussard, Remy Broussard and Emmitt Robinson; her sister, Lorna Bourque of Kaplan; and her two brothers, James B. Hebert and his wife, Charlsie of Cow Island and Roylee G. Hebert and his wife, Angela of Sunset.

She was preceded in death by her son, Brock Vaughan; her parents, Teanny Man and Florine Hebert.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Friday, November 11, 2022 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 1:00 PM.
