Theresa Lemaire Deville

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Theresa LeMaire Deville, 66, who died Thursday, November 14, 2019 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Bancker Cemetery with Reverend Palthasar Arrockia Doss officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Meinecke, Derek Gaspard, Paul Deville, Cody Morrison, Lance Naumann, Christopher Duhon, and Blake Hebert. Colton Gaspard, Jeremiah Morrison, Creed Morrison, Bayleen Scott, Shelton Morrison, Daiymon Morrison, Cameron Cepeda, and Jonah Hebert will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Theresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who loved playing bingo, bourre, and going to the casino. She was also an auxiliary member of the VFW Post 3793 of Kaplan.

She is survived by her four daughters, Tesia Deville of Abbeville, Titinia Duhon of Kaplan, Tracy Meinecke and her husband, Christopher of Abbeville, and Laura Gaspard and her husband, Derek of Kaplan; her sister, Corinna Stelly and her husband, Roland of Kaplan; her two brothers, Patrick LeMaire of Forked Island and Larry LeMaire of Kaplan; her 10 grandchildren, Amber, Amanda, Paul, Cody, Marie, Kelsee and her husband, Blake, Lance, Christopher, Maddison, and Colton; and 13 great grandchildren, Weinter, Bayleen, Shelton, Daiymon, Jeremiah, Creed, Josie, Mia, Cameron, Jonah, and three on the way.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Shelton Deville; her parents, Jasper LeMaire, Sr. and the former Laura Romero; one sister, Beverly LeMaire; three brothers, Russell LeMaire, Jasper LeMaire, Jr., and David LeMaire; one son-in-law, Ray Allen Duhon, Sr.; and one sister-in-law, Judy Faye Luquette.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Friday, November 15, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 8:00 AM until the services at 10:00 AM.
