Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church honoring the life of Thomas Wade Villejoin, 80, who died Friday, December 16, 2022 at his residence. He will be laid to rest at Abshire Cemetery with Reverend Stephen Irudayasamy officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Rougeaux, Sandra Alleman, Gavin Landry, Peter Alleman, Nicholas Pommier and Katrina Villejoin.
He is survived by his two daughters, Kemberly Villejoin of Leesville and Rebecca Villejoin of Indian Bayou; two grandchildren, Tommy Roy Fuselier of Indian Bayou and Melanie Beth Fuselier and fiancé, Auston Head of Indian Bayou; three great grandchildren, Leon Thomas Fuselier, Avangalee Head and Adelee Head all of Indian Bayou; two sisters, Winona Schexnaider of Kaplan and Myra Baronet of Indian Bayou; one brother, Randall Villejoin and his wife, Charlene of Indian Bayou; and Patricia Howard Villejoin of Crowley.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Marilyn Seton Villejoin; his infant son, Daniel Wade Villejoin; his parents, Eugene Villejoin and the former Aline Trahan; two brothers, Claude Villejoin and Joseph “Len” Villejoin; four sisters, Sadie Pommier, Janette Alleman, Dixie Alleman and Beverly Simon; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM when the procession will depart for the church.
