Tina Gallet

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Tina Gallet, 59, who died Sunday, January 19, 2020 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services. Serving as pallbearers will be Dawson LeBlanc, Aaron LeBlanc, Angel Fabre, Tabitha LeMaire, Brent Suire, Jr., Wayne Fabre, Sr., and Wayne Fabre, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Micah Istre, Cameron Istre, Charlie Morrison, Matthew Landry, Matthew Gibson, Mark Carroll, Nathan Trotter, Georgette Delhomme, Kynzie Carroll, Amauri Meaux, Jeremy Bustarde, Joseph Istre, Clint LeBlanc, and Jude Bustarde.

She is survived by her daughter, Angie Gallet and her husband, Clint A. LeBlanc of Kaplan; her son, John Rene Gallet of Rayne; her daughter-in-law, Crystal S. Breaux of Erath; her four grandchildren, Tabitha R. LeMaire, Dawson J. LeBlanc, Aaron J. LeBlanc all of Kaplan and Gabrielle P. Gallet  of Rayne; her brother, Otis J. Istre and his wife, Maudry R. Istre of Kaplan; and her niece, Sally and her husband, Wayne Fabre, Sr., and  their children, Wayne, Jr. and Angel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Linus Gallet; her parents, Joseph Rene Istre and the former Rena Hargrave; her sister and godmother, Genelle I. Abshire; her father-in-law, John Gallet; her mother-in-law, Gertie I. Schexnider; step father-in-law, Odelon C. Schexnider; her godfather, Ivan Meaux; her niece, Mary A. LeMaire; and her great nephew, Zackary J. Lemaire.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 1:00 PM until the time of the services Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 2:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.
