Troy Joseph Suire

Abbeville - A memorial will be held at a later date honoring the life of Troy Joseph Suire, 57, who died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at his residence.

Troy was a simple man who loved the outdoors and had a knack for repairing small motors.  He enjoyed maintaining his yard and barbecuing.

He is survived by his son, Zachery Suire; grandson, Jean-Paul Suire; spouse, Cathy Suire; father, Doris Steve Suire; siblings, Pam Suire and her husband, Randy, Nicole Carriere and her husband, Coby, and Brock Suire; and aunt, Paulette Boudreaux and her husband, Marion.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gwendolyn Ann Holmes; son, Zane Frederick Suire; maternal grandmother, Gertrude Broussard; maternal grandfathers, Earvin Broussard and Douglas H. Holmes; paternal grandmother, Euna Richard Suire; paternal grandfather, Doris Suire; and nephew, Thomas Clostio.

A heartfelt appreciation is extended by the Suire family to the Ms. Sue Mayard, Acadian Ambulance, Vermilion Parish Sheriff Department, Abbeville Fire Department, and Vincent Funeral Home who  offered assistance during this difficult time.
