Troy "Zee" Morvant

Kaplan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan honoring the life of Troy “Zee” Morvant, 58, who died Monday, September 21, 2020 at Abrom Kaplan Memorial Hospital.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Alicia Morvant of Kaplan; his two daughters, Paige and her husband, Luke Broussard of Indian Bayou and Troyann and her husband, Kasey Meaux of Meaux; his five grandchildren, Owen Meaux, Whitley Meaux, Audrey Broussard, Gabe Broussard, and Landon Broussard; and his brother, Berney Morvant and his wife, Linda of Milton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ezidor Morvant and the former Lily Mae Vincent; and his brother, Kim Morvant.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 8:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM.
