Vernelle Pedigo Bouillion

Abbeville- Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM, on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville honoring the life of Vernelle Joy Pedigo Bouillion, 86, who passed away on April 01, 2025, at her residence. Reverend Cynthia Luquette, Pastor at Abbeville United Methodist Church will officiate the services. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Erath, Louisiana. Those serving as pallbearers will be Anthony Fitch, Colby Fitch, Keith Lachaussee, Allen Lasalle, Jason Lasalle, and Daylin Major.

A visitation will take place at Vincent Funeral Home of Abbeville, 209 S. Saint Charles St., on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the time of services.

As a dedicated homemaker, Vernelle poured her heart into caring for her family. She was not only a loving mother to her two daughters, Laurie and Debbie, but also a devoted caregiver to her own mother. Vernelle’s love touched everyone around her and will be deeply missed.

Vernelle is survived by her daughters, Debbie B. LaBauve Lachaussee and her husband, Keith, and Laurie B. Fitch and her husband, Anthony; grandchildren, Lacey Lortz, and Colby Fitch and his companion, Apryl; and great-grandsons, Logan and Jackson Lortz.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roland Bouillion; her parents, Elbert Eugene Pedigo and the former Laura Mazie Hoffpauir; and brothers, Leon Pedigo, Eugene Pedigo, and Donald “Billy” Pedigo.
