Vernice Trahan Hebert

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Vernice Trahan Hebert, 96, who died Sunday, December 9, 2018 at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She will be laid to rest at Hebert Cemetery with Reverend Mark Miley officiating the services.

She is survived by one son, Rayfred Hebert and his wife, Laura of Kaplan; three daughters, Velva Jane Robicheaux of Kaplan, Laura Mae and her husband, J.C. Lege of Sulphur and Adeline Joan and her husband, Hurby Simon of Kaplan; one sister, Verna Harrington of Breaux Bridge; 18 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis J. Hebert; and one son, Otis J. “Sport” Hebert Jr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 from 8:00 AM until 10:45 AM when the procession departs for the church. A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM.
