Waltraud “Wallie” Harding

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Waltraud “Wallie” Harding, 82, who died Monday, July 11, 2022 at her residence.  She will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Reverend Farley Painter officiating the services.

She is survived by her three daughters, Donna LeMaire and her husband, Barry of Rayne, Diana Abshire of New Hampshire and Denise Bedwell and her husband, Justin of Lafayette; her five grandchildren, Jamin Meaux, Reed LeMaire, Chett David, Hunter David and Rowan Bedwell; her sister, Gisela Wenninger and her husband, Lothar of Hanau, Germany; and numerous great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Curtis Abshire; her second husband, Jim Harding; her parents, Otto and Anna Poth; and her three sisters, Emmi, Helma and Margot.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of the services at 2:00 PM.
