Wesley David

Gueydan—Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan honoring the life of Wesley David, 82, who died Saturday, May 18, 2024. He will be laid to rest at Gueydan Cemetery with Deacon Tom Sommers officiating the services.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Lynn Monvoisin David of Gueydan; one son, Wesley James David and his wife, Paydra of Broussard; two daughters, Kim Lepretre and her husband, Isaac of Gueydan, and Christine David; four grandchildren, Katie Hammers of Maurice, Allison Lepretre of Scott, Christopher Lepretre of Florida, Zachary Lepretre of Broussard, Parker White of Broussard; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Duffy David and the former Eumea Simon.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Gueydan, 311 Fourth St., on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM; Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 8:00 AM until the services begin at 11:00 AM.
