Wilburn "Moon" L. Mullen

Kaplan—Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery honoring the life of Wilburn L. “Moon” Mullen, 91, who passed away peacefully Saturday, August 19, 2023 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marilene Mullen of Mandeville; his two sons, Steve Mullen and his wife, Patricia of Baton Rouge and Paul Broussard of Kaplan; his two daughters, Leslie Helm of Prairieville and Ann Cooper and her husband, Wayne of Folsom; his eight grandchildren; and his seven great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John “Dee Dee” Mullen and Clovis “Mee Mom” Mullen; his two sisters, Mildred “Monkey” Schilling and Clovis Ellowise Livingston; and his son-in-law, Phil Helm.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 8:30 AM until the procession departs for the cemetery at 10:30 AM.
