Willard "T - Boy" John Bufford

Cow Island—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at St. Anne Catholic Church honoring the life of Willard John Bufford, Sr. 81, who died Monday, May 18, 2020 at his residence.  He will be laid to rest at Harrington Cemetery with Reverend Matthew Barzare officiating the services.

He is survived by his two sons, Willard Bufford, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Kaplan and Richard Bufford and his wife, Joanna of Forked Island; his three daughters, Kerry Suire and her husband, Bradley of Abbeville, Rochelle Darbonne and her husband, Steve of Erath, and Freddie Meaux and her husband, Carlos of Kaplan; his companion, Gloria Ledet of Youngsville; his sister, Codrey Jameyson and her husband, Don of Crowley; his 11 grandchildren, Joshua Bufford and his wife, Brook, Leslie Broussard and her husband, Chip,  Pamela Barras and her husband, Brady, Alicia Hayes and her husband, Nicholas, Stephen Darbonne, Jr. and his wife, Arielle, Tim Darbonne, Shawn Guidry and his wife, Cara, Logan Bufford, Travis Bufford, Macy Bufford and Paige Meaux; his ten great grandchildren; his three stepsons, Carlos Broussard, Wendell Broussard, and Kimble Broussard; and his stepdaughter, Roxane Richard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie Bufford and the former Alix Perry; and his brother, Floyd Bufford.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM; Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM when the procession departs for the church.
