Winnie Hardy Marceaux

Kaplan—A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 AM on Monday, December 18, 2017 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church honoring the life of Winnie Hardy Marceaux, 84, who passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Pelican Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation. She will be laid to rest at Kaplan Cemetery with Reverend Nicholas DuPre' officiating the services.

She is survived by her son, Alfred Robert "Bobby" Marceaux (U.S. Army Veteran) and his wife, Jennifer of Buffalo, NY; one daughter, Trina and her husband, Bryan Frederick of Mittie, LA; six grandchildren, Brittany and her husband, Jeffery Brady, Daphne and her husband, Justin Darbonne, Kattie Stevens, Pam and her husband, Justin Merritt, Jean-Luc Marceaux (U.S. Marine Veteran), and D'Ette Marceaux (currently serving in the U.S. Navy); nine great grandchildren, Natalee Brady, Brantley Brady, Kylee Darbonne, Raylee Darbonne, Laklee Darbonne, Dillan Richard, Jacob Merritt, Ben Merritt, and Ava Merritt; four sisters, Audrey Bergeron, Flaudry Lormand, Glenda Jagneaux, and Suzanne Hebert; and four brothers, Rixie Hardy, Rixby Hardy, Bradley Hardy, and Assey Hardy, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Bobby" Marceaux, Sr.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 6:00 PM with a rosary being prayed at 4:00 PM; Monday, December 18, 2017 from 8:00 AM until the procession departs for the church.
